Graphite Soft Felts

BZNCarbon offers high-quality graphite soft felts made from PAN, Rayon, or Pitch-based carbon fiber. These materials are treated under controlled high-temperature conditions to produce felts with superior thermal insulation, low ash content, and excellent chemical stability.

Our graphite soft felts are widely used in industrial furnace insulation and energy storage applications such as flow batteries. They are available in various grades and can be heat treated up to 2800°C, with halogen purification available upon request for ultra-high purity.

PAN vs. Rayon Graphite Felt

PAN-based felt is more affordable, has longer service life, and is more resistant to oxidation—ideal for inner insulation in furnaces.
Rayon-based felt offers better thermal insulation with lower conductivity and doesn’t irritate skin during installation—often used in outer furnace layers to minimize energy loss.
