Graphite Pipe
BZNCarbon manufactures high-performance graphite pipes and tubes specifically for heat exchanger systems. With advanced processing lines, we produce a wide range of graphite pipes, blocks, and plates that deliver superior thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and dimensional accuracy.
Category: Graphites
Tag: Graphite Pipe
Description
Types of Graphite Pipes
1. Machined Graphite Pipes
Produced by machining solid graphite blocks (e.g., isostatic, molded, extruded, vibration, or mechanical graphite). These pipes inherit the high-temperature resistance and chemical stability of the base graphite material.
Size Range:
Outer Diameter: 2–280 mm
Length: 30–2000 mm
Applications:
Metallurgy, chemicals, power plants, machinery, aerospace
2. Resin Extruded Graphite Pipes
These are produced by mixing graphite powder with phenolic resin, extruding the mixture, and then graphitizing at high temperature. This type enables longer pipe lengths (up to 7500 mm) and is ideal for use in graphite tube heat exchangers.
Features:
Excellent thermal conductivity: 30–40 W/m·K
High corrosion resistance (acid-resistant)
Light weight and low thermal expansion
Stronger than many non-metallic materials and even stainless steel in corrosive environments
Main Application Fields:
Chemical processing, chlor-alkali industry, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, etc.
