Description

Rayon based rigid graphite felt is made by graphitizing soft rayon felt and compressing it into a rigid board or custom shape. Depending on the application, it can be laminated with CFC (Carbon Fiber Composite) on one or both sides, or graphite foil on one or both surfaces. These options are available upon customer request.

This material is ideal for extremely high-temperature applications, with heat treatment levels of 1800°C, 2200°C, and 2600°C.

Application Areas

  • Vacuum furnaces and high-temperature heat shields

  • Thermal insulation in crystal growing systems

  • Semiconductor and solar panel production

  • Aerospace and nuclear insulation systems

  • Energy storage and advanced battery systems
